Dr. Jamil C. Mohsin
Jamil C. Mohsin, MD, FACC, FSCAI is a dedicated cardiologist at the Heart & Vascular Center of North Houston in Tomball, Texas. With over two decades of experience, he is Triple Board-Certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. His expertise includes interventional cardiology, coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, nuclear cardiology, and peripheral vascular disease.
Dr. Mohsin has practiced clinical cardiology since 2002. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he also completed his internship and residency. He went on do his cardiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and advanced interventional and endovascular fellowships at Allegheny General Hospital and Drexel University College of Medicine.
As part of his career, Dr. Mohsin also served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. He later founded the Heart & Vascular Center of North Houston with the vision of delivering advanced cardiovascular care that combines the latest therapies and technologies with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. His philosophy emphasizes not only treatment but also prevention and education, empowering patients to play an active role in their heart health.
Dr. Mohsin is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He is a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the American Medical Association, and of the American College of Physicians – American Society of Internal Medicine. He is also a member of Phi Beta Phi Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Dr. Mohsin has been recognized in H Texas Magazine and frequently shares his knowledge as a guest speaker at community health events focused on cardiovascular disease and prevention. Outside of his practice, he enjoys family time with his wife and children, as well as skiing, water activities, and traveling.
